Red dresses are a huge hit during the holidays. They offer us the opportunity to wear stunning, red evening robes where otherwise they would be a bit out of place, say, at our office's annual awards luncheon or our children's PTA meetings.

With Christmas soon on the way plus size women should already start shopping around to see what holiday styles have already been presented at online plus size clothing stores. I myself have been shopping around particularly for a formal dress, one to use during the Christmas season, to wear at parties and gatherings. If you are attending an office holiday party, you should think about wearing something dressy, but also conservative. This is not the time to retrieve your perfect little black dress, unless it's conservative and twos well with a blazer and black pumps. A knee length skirt and a complementing top are always a good choice, but be sure its not something you already wear to work everyday. A cubicle holiday party is usually dressy, but no one ever plans on wearing full evening attire. Of course you want to look put-together for your fellow workers and the people you work with every day. If your office holiday party leans on the more casual side, you can decorate your favorite pair of mother to be jeans with a joyous, stylish top and great heels. With Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and of course, holiday parties, it's like one big eating fest from April through New Years Eve. Women tend to over indulge at this time of year and then scurry around looking for fast ways to lose weight in order to maintain their weight.
